DELIVERY AND PAYMENT

Couriers and Express Delivery can be arranged for all Australian Orders. (prices vary and are calculated by distance from our ROCKDALE studio for Same Day Deliveries)
For deliveries to Educational Institutions, a flat rate of $15+GST is applied.

We accept cash and direct bank transfers (no surcharge). For Credit Card payments over the phone or through our online terminal (STRIPE) a 2.9% surcharge is applied to each invoice.

HOURS

Our Rockdale Studio and workshop operate 7 days, hours vary.
Pickup from Studio is by confirmation email of job completion.
Consultation is by appointment only.

FILES

Accepted File formats include: .pdf .ai .3dm (rhino) and .dwg
If unable to set up files for laser cutting, please email us at info@domusvim.com to organise CAD conversion (additional costs apply).

QUOTES

Please send all cutting requests and correspondence to info@domusvim.com
Attention is given immediately after files are received. Quotes are based on a combination of length of cutting, time taken and chosen material
N/B: When using Rhino, check the length of cutting as a means of reducing costs
ALL QUOTES ARE FREE OF CHARGE

If changes have been made to the file after quotation, please ensure to resent the updated FULL file. Domus Vim accepts no responsibility for incorrect files sent. Additional fees may be applied to files that have been dramatically amended and rearranged.

TURNAROUND

DOMUS VIM aim to get files cut within 24-48 hours from confirmation (via payment).
This is dependent on availability of bookings and if all materials are in stock. For custom materials and large volume orders, please allow additional time. Confirmation emails and quotes will provide an estimated turnaround time/ delivery time.
No ‘rush’ and ‘express’ services are available for laser cutting at additional costs

For product and object fabrication, express services are available for additional costs.

DISCOUNTS

DOMUS VIM offer a 20% Student Discount on the provision of a valid tertiary education I.D or document.

PACKAGING

All jobs are taped into the sheets after completion. We will endeavor to ensure you receive your project just as you sent it, however this may not always be possible with smaller pieces.

Certain materials such as boxboard, screenboard and white card have a tendency to peel after tape is removed (low tack tape is used as per standard to minimise the chance of this). Please let us know if you do not wish us to tape your project to the sheets they are cut out of.
